Titanium Nails come in 3 different sizes. 10mm, 14mm, and 18mm. If you use a downstem or a slide, the size of your nail should match the size of your downstem/slide.
Here's a pic of Cosmic's female domeless titanium nails sizes. Left to right: 18mm, 14mm, and 10mm.
After you have figured out the correct joint size, now you need to know whether you need a female or male domeless titanium nail. Female titanium nails (shown in the above pic) fit around your glass joint. Traditional oil rigs use female titanium nails. Male titanium nails on the other hand, need to go inside of the glass joint. If your waterpipe uses a downstem or a slide, then it will most likely require a male titanium nail.
The oil rig shown below would use a female domeless titanium nail.
This Pulse Glass waterpipe would use a Male domeless titanium nail.
So if I have a male 14mm joint size on my rig, I need a female 14mm domeless nail?
Please & thank you.
Hey Damien,
One of the smallest 10mm titanium nails would be the New-Vape 10mm. And yes, domeless nails do not require a dome.
What’s the smallest nail 10mm and for a domeless nail that means u dont need a dome?
