The Bad News:
When I came into the office this morning, I received news that our customers have been having difficulties completing their orders over the weekend. After a little bit of investigation, it turns out that our payment processor has abruptly canceled our service. After 2 years of using their services, they claim they're heading in a different direction and cut ties with us because the number "420" is in our website name. This is upsetting because 420Titanium has been our name since day 1 and we received no warning before or after that fact that they were going to cancel our account.
The Good News:
This morning we successfully found a different processor and plan to be up and running normally within 24-48 hours. Woo hoo!
The Even Better News:
This is the busiest time of the year for us, and to go up 5 days with zero sales means we have huge ground to cover. How are we going to make up for this? By offering the biggest discount ever (25% off) sitewide for the first 48 hours we're back up and running again. We can also accept PayPal during this outage instead.
